- DescriptionWorking on a research project and not sure how to use the sources you've been finding? Then come to the University Writing Center! This workshop will provide guidance on quoting, paraphrasing, summarizing and synthesizing sources to make the most of your research. Peer writing consultants will also be available to answer your individual questions. Bring any research assignments you're working on and join us via Zoom!
This event is open to UCF students at all levels. Microphone and camera access is encouraged for participation, but not required.

- Sep 241:30 PMAWS Data Lake and VisualizationWorking with large, complex research datasets requires efficient data management and analysis capabilities. This hands-on Amazon Web Services (AWS) workshop will teach you how to build a scalable data lake using AWS Lake Formation, unlock insights from that data through SQL queries in Amazon Athena and create compelling visualizations in Amazon QuickSight. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to leverage the power of the AWS data analytics stack to support your research. To participate in the hands-on lab during the session, you will need to provide your own computer with a web browser and a reliable internet connection. This event is not being recorded.
