- Adventure TripsThe Adventure Trips Program gives Knights an opportunity to explore our world through fun and enriching outdoor experiences. From 1-day excursions to week-long expeditions, Outdoor Adventure offers a variety of trips for current UCF students. All levels of experience are welcome!
- Arboretum Hiking TrailsThe UCF nature trails are one of the best kept secrets on campus. 14 miles of peaceful Florida habitat await nature lovers who are looking for adventure right outside their front door.
- Group ExerciseFrom high intensity interval training classes like the popular F45, and bootcamp, to the energy fun of Zumba, and Hip-Hop Cardio, to mind and body experiences like Barre, Yoga, and Pilates, there is a group exercise class for Knights of all fitness levels.
- IM SportsKnights versus Knights competition in intramural sports leagues and tournaments like basketball, volleyball, Esports, soccer, cricket, shuffleboard, and dodgeball. Register your team or join a team even if you don’t have one!
- Lake Claire (William E. and Mary Jo Davis Recreation Area)Knights can relax in a beach like setting right on campus and it’s all free! Canoe or paddle board, cook-out, or enjoy sand volleyball without having to get in your car.
- Recreation and Wellness Center HoursHello Knights! Welcome to UCF’s favorite place to play. From Swimming lessons, to cardio and strength workouts, to friendly and competitive competition in sport clubs, and intramural sports, to adventure trips and rock climbing. There is something for everyone at the RWC!
Nutrition
- Arboretum GardenThe Arboretum organic community garden has grown into a major feature of the Arboretum program and has become an especially important part of our volunteer program, hosting thousands of volunteer hours per year.
- Clinical DietitianOne-on-one consultations with the Clinical Dietitian, who can help them with: weight management, eating disorders and body dysmorphia, hypertension and pre-hypertension, anemia, diabetes, and digestive disorders are available to students. Make an appointment with one of our primary care providers to obtain a referral.
- Eating Disorder ManagementEDMT is a team of professionals dedicated to the treatment and care of eating disorders and body image concerns. Medical Providers, Dietitians, Therapists and Psychiatrists from SHS and CAPS have joined together to help you. To get started, make an appointment with either office, and they will refer you to the EDMT team if you can benefit from that approach.
- Food PantryUCF students with a valid UCF ID can check-out items once per day and are typically able to take 5 food items per day. Toiletries, home goods, school supplies, bread/bakery, and clothing are available in limited supply. Item limits change due to semester breaks and disaster response & will be posted on site as needed.
- FreshUFreshU offers workshops, cooking demonstrations, cooking classes, and other hands on educational experiences to increase accessibility to fresh food on campus.

- Group Therapy/WorkshopsCAPS offers focused groups and workshops throughout the academic year. Groups typically begin a few weeks into the semester and are free. Enrolled students can meet with a counselor to discuss group options and be referred to a pre-screening with the group facilitator(s).

- Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)SHAC provides an essential link between Student Health Services and the UCF student body by relaying student health concerns to SHS and participating in SHS-sponsored events.

Emotional Well-being
- Biofeedback Relaxation TrainingBiofeedback Assisted Relaxation Training Program is a one-on-one counselor assisted training program which educates students to implement relaxation techniques in a six-session time period. Our goal is to help students reduce the stress responses that are compromising their bodies’ systems and replace them with automatic, positive responses.
- Mental Health CounselingCounseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is the only free of charge campus agency designated to provide comprehensive psychological services and supports suicide prevention efforts to university enrolled students.
- Psychiatry ServicesPsychiatric evaluation and care of mental health conditions is available at the Health Center. A referral is required prior to scheduling, which may be obtained from a previous medical or mental health provider, one of our primary care providers, or from the CAPS. Click to call and sched.
- Substance Use Disorders & AddictionsSHS treats both substance use disorders as well as process addictions which include (though not limited to) gambling, video games, food, sex, and pornography addictions. - Therapy Assisted Online (TAO) Self HelpTAO Self Help is an interactive, web-based program that provides assistance to help overcome anxiety, depression, and other concerns.
- TogetherallTogetherall is an free online peer-to-peer platform, offering a safe space to connect with others experiencing similar feelings. Whether you’re struggling to cope, feeling low or just need a place to talk, Togetherall can help you to explore your feelings in a safe supportive environment. There are always trained professionals on hand, 24/7, 365 days a year. And, if sharing isn’t your thing, Togetherall has tools and courses to help you look after yourself, along with plenty of resources to explore.

- Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC)The RWC is open to all currently enrolled students, and paid memberships are available for non-students. The RWC also comprises of many programs, such as Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Adventure, Fitness, and Aquatics.
