This group meets every Wednesday. May meet outdoors during building closures for holidays.NA is a non-profit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. We meet regularly to help each other live drug-free. There are no dues or fees, the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. Our fellowship focuses primarily on recovery from the disease of addiction. This monthly food distribution event is a volunteering opportunity that occurs on the third Thursday of every month at the 910 Livingston Street Church of God about a block and half from UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown.The entire volunteer opportunity is from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. There are two volunteer shifts: 8:30-11 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.-1p.m. Volunteers may sign up for one or both shifts (link below).Volunteers will be expected to assist with setup and teardown, breakdown and repackage food for distribution, and assist with loading patron's vehicles.*If all 20 spots are filled, you are still able to come volunteer. Take a world tour of the John C. Hitt Library and learn about the services, resources, and spaces for your academic journey. The first 150 students to complete the grand tour earn an exclusive UCF Libraries Duck! The scavenger hunt will start on the second floor just inside the student union entrance of the library.

At UCF Trivia Knight, students will engage in friendly competition while learning about UCF's history and campus culture through trivia. Inclusive Education Services On Campus Tour Visit IES for an on-campus tour. During the on-campus IES tour, families can visit the IES facilities, meet members of the IES team, see the UCF campus, and learn more about the program. The tour begins with an information session in the IES office and is followed by a walking campus tour (rain or shine, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes). The Department of Housing and Residence Life offers tours of select UCF housing communities. UCF's All-State Preparation Clinic offers in-person sessions designed to help prepare for the Florida Music Educators' Association 2025-26 All-State Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band auditions.Event Details* The goal of our All-State Prep Clinic is to help middle and high school students prepare for a successful All-State audition. * UCF applied music faculty and guest instrumentalist will offer clinics on FBA and FOA All-State Band and Orchestra audition requirements for 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 grades as well as FBA Jazz Band auditions requirements for 9-12 grades. * Emphasis will be placed on All-State exercise preparation, tone production, technique development, scales, sight-reading strategies and audition readiness.Pre-registration available until noon on Friday, August 22. The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center, in collaboration with the University of Central Florida Officials Association, will be offering the 29th Annual Basketball Officiating Class. This class is designed to train officials in the proper rules and mechanics needed to officiate at the high school level and beyond. Qualified officials will teach it from the local high school associations, various college conferences and professional leagues, including the NBA.When: Class begins Tuesday, August 26, and takes place from 6:00-10:00 PM, and will continue every Tuesday until October 21.Class Format: Class will meet each night in the Recreation and Wellness Center, Room 206. Rules, discussion, and hands-on training will take place in each class. Instructors and guest speakers will provide feedback on how to improve through on-court and video-taped critiques. The RWC offers American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED, First Aid Blended Learning classes. The Blended Learning class includes an online portion (most participants can complete this in approximately 2 hours) and an instructor-led class skills session (approximately two hours long). The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class skills session.Each participant who successfully completes the course will earn an American Red Cross certificate in Adult First Aid, CPR with AED.
