Ideas Competition Information Session 1

Students interested in programs within the School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) are encouraged to tour our art studios and other computer labs. Each tour begins with an information session presented by the SVAD advising team with an overview of each program and their requirements. Tours are conducted by faculty, staff, alumni and student ambassadors who are enrolled in an SVAD program. These sessions and tours are offered together and are scheduled on select Fridays (except for holidays). Each info session begins at 10 a.m. and tours begin at 11 a.m. in the Visual Arts Building. The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program offers young professionals the opportunity to work in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) or Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs). Maximize your undergraduate experience at UCF by participating in the Honors Undergraduate Thesis (HUT) program. Join us to learn more.About this eventThe HUT program allows juniors and seniors from all disciplines to engage in original and independent research as principal investigators. Over the course of two to four semesters, students work closely with a faculty committee to research, write, defend and publish an original thesis that serves as an honors capstone product of their undergraduate career. This thesis is published through the university library and is available to researchers worldwide through electronic databases.These information sessions cover the honors thesis eligibility requirements, program benefits and an overview of the steps to complete an honors undergraduate thesis/creative project.
