The RWC offers American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED, First Aid Blended Learning classes. The Blended Learning class includes an online portion (most participants can complete this in approximately 2 hours) and an instructor-led class skills session (approximately two hours long). The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class skills session.Each participant who successfully completes the course will earn an American Red Cross certificate in Adult First Aid, CPR with AED. Inclusive Education Services On Campus Tour Visit IES for an on-campus tour. During the on-campus IES tour, families can visit the IES facilities, meet members of the IES team, see the UCF campus, and learn more about the program. The tour begins with an information session in the IES office and is followed by a walking campus tour (rain or shine, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes). Inclusive Education Services Virtual Information Session The Inclusive Education Services (IES) program provides an inclusive, comprehensive, non-degree-seeking college experience to adults with intellectual disabilities. During the two-year experience, students discover and develop their passions and strengths, enhancing their ability to facilitate long-term, paid and fulfilling employment after graduation. This Live workshop will provide an overview of how to build a successful Joint Venture package that conforms to SBA regulations. An old phrase says that two heads are better than one, your properly conformed Joint Venture will make that statement true. A joint venture agreement or JV is an arrangement between two or more businesses to team up to accomplish a particular business goal. A joint venture may be formed to fulfill a project or business activity, such as when a foreign company wants to enter the local market. Joint ventures may only be temporary, but businesses can enter a JV agreement for short-term or long-term undertakings. We will discuss the specific SBA rules on how to prepare the agreement, as well as how to populate the new entity. Attendees will be briefed by the University of Central Florida APEX Accelerator regarding free technical assistance available to all small businesses in the government contracting arena.
