Surfing is a classic Floridian adventure - come learn the basics with our Adventure Trip Leaders as your instructors and enjoy some sun, sand, and surf!What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including surfboards, leashes, and rash guards), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. To kick off UCF Homecoming Week, the Department of Health Sciences along with Orlando's Track Shack are bringing the U Can Finish run back to main campus, and there is something for everyone.This will be on Oct. 12, 2025, with a race start of 7:30 am at Memory Mall. There is a 2-miler, a 5-miler, or the distance dare (2-miler + 5-miler), and a virtual option. You can win up to 3 medals competing in the distance dare. RWC Climbing Tower • October 12, 2025Feeling lucky? Come take your chances at our Vegas Knights Fall Climbing Competition! We're turning the Climbing Tower into a high-stakes hangout, complete with themed routes, fun challenges, and a little bit of glitz. Whether you're in it to win or just here for the fun, this competition is for all UCF Knights!What to Expect:* Climbing routes for all skill levels - no experience or belay certification is required* Scratch-off style scorecards - your score is somewhat up to Lady Luck!* Prizes, giveaways, and a chance to show off your best tower tuxedo (just kidding… but costumes are welcome!)* Free for all current UCF Students and current RWC Members. Nancy Zeltsman, leading marimba specialist and professor at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and at Berklee College of Music, is set to share her soulful, rhythmic performance style with UCF audiences. For 40 years, Zeltsman has been perfecting the craft of marimba. Review their myUCF portal for holds and to-dos and teach students how to view the necessary steps to resolve these items to avoid delays in their ability to register. 2. Learn how to access and read their degree audit to better understand what the requirements are to finish with their current declared major. 3. Assist students with putting classes in their shopping cart and setting up the "Swap" feature. 4. Educate students on the FloridaShines transient course option. 5. Know who their assigned ASC is and how to schedule an appointment with him/her. If assigned to a committee, how to schedule with an ASC. 6. And more!This multi-day event will not be schedule planning, unless an ASC would like to attend and provide that service.
