RESEARCH WEEK
Student Research Week is a showcase of discovery and scholarship. Each Spring, students participate in workshops and events, including poster sessions where they present research and creative scholarship to the UCF community.
PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS
Workshops offered through the Pathways to Success program are designed to help build a strong graduate community by providing attendees with professional development training beyond the discipline and classroom.
GRADUATE STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL
The council comprises students from across the university; they meet monthly and share their experiences, identify and suggest solutions to challenges unique to graduate students, and makes recommendations to the College of Graduate Studies to build a welcoming and inclusive graduate community.
THREE MINUTE THESIS (3MT) COMPETITION
Graduate research is presented in a novel and exciting way at UCF’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Doctoral and master’s students communicate their research in just three short minutes and with only one PowerPoint slide to non-expert judges while competing to win scholarship awards.
