- Nov 96:00 PMOpera Scenes PerformancesThis year's program includes scenes from Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Nicolai's The Merry Wives of Windsor, Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, Mozart's Don Giovanni and Verdi's Nabucco.Every fall semester, the students enrolled in UCF's Opera Workshop class are assigned scenes to study, memorize and prepare for this annual event. This year, we have 16 students in the class -- many of whom are new to UCF -- and they are excited about singing/acting for you. We have four performances from which to choose -- two on Sunday, Nov. 9, and two on Saturday, Nov. 15. The venue is located on UCF's main campus in the Rehearsal Hall Auditorium.The Rehearsal Hall Auditorium only seats about 90-100 guests, so please purchase your ticket(s) in advance to ensure a seat. We will also have spaces designated for wheelchair seating.
