Julia behaves like an interpreted language but is just in time compiled to maximize performance, sometimes exceeding the speed of C and C++. - Oct 212:00 PMThe Registration Rodeo: This Isn't Our First RegistrationThe purpose of The Registration Rodeo is to prepare students for the upcoming Spring 2026 registration. This multi-day event will help students:1. Review their myUCF portal for holds and to-dos and teach students how to view the necessary steps to resolve these items to avoid delays in their ability to register. 2. Learn how to access and read their degree audit to better understand what the requirements are to finish with their current declared major. 3. Assist students with putting classes in their shopping cart and setting up the "Swap" feature. 4. Educate students on the FloridaShines transient course option. 5. Know who their assigned ASC is and how to schedule an appointment with him/her. If assigned to a committee, how to schedule with an ASC. 6. And more!The first 10 students at each event will receive a free Academic Success Kit!Please review the dates/times below to learn when your college's ASCs will be present to assist with questions. - Oct 216:00 PMBasketball Officiating Class 2025The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center, in collaboration with the University of Central Florida Officials Association, will be offering the 29th Annual Basketball Officiating Class. This class is designed to train officials in the proper rules and mechanics needed to officiate at the high school level and beyond. Qualified officials will teach it from the local high school associations, various college conferences and professional leagues, including the NBA.When: Class begins Tuesday, August 26, and takes place from 6:00-10:00 PM, and will continue every Tuesday until October 21.Class Format: Class will meet each night in the Recreation and Wellness Center, Room 206. Rules, discussion, and hands-on training will take place in each class. Instructors and guest speakers will provide feedback on how to improve through on-court and video-taped critiques. FEE: The cost is $35.00 for UCF Students and $80.00 for non-UCF Students. Registration includes a whistle, a t-shirt, a class manual, and instruction. Parking is not included in this fee. *Only 26 spaces are available. Registration will continue until the class is filled. Weremchuk has performed and recorded with groups such as the New World Symphony and Sam Rivers Rivbea Orchestra. He has performed at jazz festivals across the globe including Chicago, Portugal, London, and New York. Locally, Weremchuk regularly performs with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and The Florida Orchestra.Free admission
