This year's program includes scenes from Donizetti's "L'elisir d'amore", Nicolai's "The Merry Wives of Windsor", Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel", Mozart's "Don Giovanni", and Verdi's "Nabucco".Every fall semester, the students enrolled in UCF's Opera Workshop class are assigned scenes to study, memorize, and prepare for this annual event. This year we have 16 students in the class - many of them are new students at UCF - and they are excited about singing/acting for you. We have four performances from which to choose - two on Sunday, November 9 and two on Saturday, November 15. The venue is on the main UCF campus in the "Rehearsal Hall Auditorium".The Rehearsal Hall Auditorium only seats about 90-100 guests, so please purchase your ticket(s) ahead of time to assure a seat.
