- 8:30 AM4h 30mDowntown Volunteer Opportunity: 910 Food DistributionThis monthly food distribution event is a volunteering opportunity that occurs on the third Thursday of every month at the 910 Livingston Street Church of God about a block and half from UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown.The entire volunteer opportunity is from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. There are two volunteer shifts: 8:30-11 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.-1p.m. Volunteers may sign up for one or both shifts (link below).Volunteers will be expected to assist with setup and teardown, breakdown and repackage food for distribution, and assist with loading patron's vehicles.*If all 20 spots are filled, you are still able to come volunteer. - 1:00 PM2hPop-Up Library at Downtown CampusDTC Library is bringing the books to you! Check out and return books at our Pop Up Library. Every Thursday we load up one of our book carts with popcorn, swag, and Pop Reads! Our Pop Reads are new fiction and nonfiction and have a three week loan time, and we change the location of the book cart every week. That means if you check out a book from our book cart while we are at CMB, you can catch us again there in three weeks to return it.
