- LocationRehearsal Hall
- DescriptionFranz Schubert's Winterreise (Winter Journey) is probably the most respected and performed song cycle ever written. Published in 1828, it is a setting of 24 poems by German poet Wilhelm Muller. This performance is a product of Thomas Potter's voice studio, each singing 2 or 3 of the songs, accompanied by pianist Julie Tompkins. It was designed to introduce the UCF voice students to this monumental work, and to share it in a public performance.
