The UCF Wind Ensemble is comprised of approximately 50 of the finest wind and percussion students at the University of Central Florida. Performing literature of the highest caliber, the Wind Ensemble presents two to three concerts per semester at local, regional and national venues.The UCF Symphonic Band is an auditioned ensemble that performs a varied repertoire of standard band literature. Jazz Ensemble II is a standard instrumentation big band geared toward training music education majors in the jazz idiom and developing skills in applied jazz performance. The group performs a varied repertoire of standard literature as well as new pieces composed and arranged for big band. The ensemble performs locally and regionally several times per semester.
