- Apr 122:00 PMLet's Go Camping! Theatre for the Very YoungJoin best friends Happy Camper and Fuzzy on a camping adventure, told through music, puppetry, and creative play! "Let's Go Camping!" is a 45-minute interactive play designed for 2 to 5-year-olds. Along the way, children will explore the wonders of nature, meet woodland friends, and earn Junior Explorer badges. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal or doll to the performance to accompany them on their journey."Let's Go Camping!" was commissioned by the Jeanette M Gould Traveling Theater and was created by Nicole B. Adkins, Elizabeth Brendel Horn, and Scottie Rowell. It was originally conceived to perform bedside for pediatric hospital patients. The National Young Composers Challenge Composium is part concert, part masterclass, part competition, and guaranteed to be thrilling from start to finish.Doors will be kept open during the event so that patrons can come to be inspired by your favorite young composer or stay for this entire amazing event.
