Crossroads: The Intersection of Business and Philanthropy

Thursday, November 20, 2025 4:30–7:00 PM
  • Location
    Downtown Campus: DPAC 106A
  • Description
Join us for the fifth annual Crossroads Speaker Series featuring Jennifer Flynn Dear, managing director of corporate affairs at KPMG LLP. She will engage in a lively dialogue with moderator Sherry Magee, senior director at KPMG LLP, focusing on the intersection of business and philanthropy. This annual event spotlights the impact that corporate leadership can have on those who live and work in their communities, as well as the strategic goals that can be accomplished through partnerships with nonprofit organizations.

With over 25 years at KPMG, Jennifer has held various leadership roles within the firm focused on relationship and brand building programs, corporate social responsibility efforts and effective communications platforms. Currently, she leads initiatives to support the firm's growth priorities, brand and reputation with a focus on community vitality and college and career readiness.

Guests are invited to submit questions in advance for Jennifer via email to [donorrelations@ucf.edu](mailto:donorrelations@ucf.edu).

The crossroads where business and philanthropy intersect often is the engine that drives the success and well-being of individual lives and entire communities. The Crossroads Speaker Series is one example of how Dr. Phillips Charities and UCF work in partnership to improve our educational programming and the health and vitality of downtown Orlando, Central Florida and beyond.
