If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above.Pre-Trip Date and Time: TBDTrip Description: Want to learn how to backpack in a low-pressure environment? This trip is for you! We will be teaching participants how to pack and fit a backpack all while having fun along the way.What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including backpacks, camping gear, etc), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders.Meals will be provided on this trip; all menus will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account. Occasionally, groups will eat at restaurants while traveling. These meals are not included in your trip cost. Your Trip Leaders will inform you of any meals not included in the trip price.What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. Meals are provided. This is your weekly chance to hang out, try new activities, and enter our monthly raffle. No experience needed - we want all of the new climbers to come join us!Fall 2025 ScheduleOctober* Oct. 5 - Rope Bracelets & Rope Crafts: Repurpose old climbing rope into crafts to keep or share* Oct. 12 - Fall Climbing Competition: No Community Climb this week; come to the Fall Climbing Comp instead.* Oct. 19 - Anything But a Chalk Bag: Bring something creative to hold your climbing chalk that is anything but a chalk bag. Bonus points for creativity, functionality, style (and being school-appropriate)* Oct. 26 - Boulder Flash Comp: You'll get three attempts to finish a new bouldering problem. Earn extra raffle tickets for completing the routes successfully!November* Nov. 2 - Harness Charms: Create and swap small, clip-on items with other climbers to decorate your harness and connect with the community.* Nov. 9 - Swap Shop: Bring gently used outdoor or climbing gear to trade with others.* Nov. 16 - Sasquatch Challenge: Can you send a route with giant Sasquatch hands and feet? Put your skills to the test and earn raffle entries for completing the challenge.* Nov. 23 - Boulder Flash Comp: You'll get 3 attempts to finish a new bouldering problem. Earn extra raffle tickets for completing the routes successfully!Raffle Info: Attend, participate, and earn raffle entries each week. Winners are drawn at the final Community Climb of the month.

The RWC offers American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED, First Aid Blended Learning classes. The Blended Learning class includes an online portion (most participants can complete this in approximately 2 hours) and an instructor-led class skills session (approximately two hours long). The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class skills session.Each participant who successfully completes the course will earn an American Red Cross certificate in Adult First Aid, CPR with AED. The certificate is valid for two years.To register for this class please call 407-823-2408, or walk into the RWC administrative office between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and someone will assist you!
