Get ready to kick off the fall semester at Lake Claire with PaddleFest 2025! We're bringing back our favorite summer camp vibes with paddling, games, music, and all the nostalgic fun of Camp Claire. Join us for this classic Recreation and Wellness Center event at UCF's only natural lake.

Highlights & Activities

* Free kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals for all current UCF students (ID required). Guests are welcome as long as they are in the same vessel as a current student!

* Camp-themed stations around Lake Claire: lawn games, arts & crafts, giant Jenga, cornhole, and more

* Live music, tasty snacks, and prize giveaways to deliver the ultimate autumn spirit

* Connect with local groups and campus clubs: stop by interactive booths from UCF departments, student orgs, and community partners to learn more, play games, and get involved!
* Adaptive paddling options available: ADA-compliant dock and gear for all abilities at Lake Claire




Who Can Participate?

PaddleFest is a free event for all current UCF students, RWC members, and their guests! Anyone can come out for the event, but you must be a UCF Student to participate in the watercraft race and win prizes.
