If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above.Pre-Trip Date & Time: 1/15/25 at 6:30 PMTrip Description: We'll explore the outstandingly diverse waterways and wildlife habitats that support significant populations of both rare and common wildlife within the Florida panhandle on this water-based trip. With over 100-miles of scenic paddling trails to choose from, our Trip Leaders will make sure to find a trail that delights and suits the needs of participants (don't worry, we won't paddle all 100!). This is a great trip for beginners and experienced paddlers.What's Included: All our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including camping gear, paddling gear, etc.), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. Meals will be provided on this trip; all menus will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account. Occasionally, groups may eat at restaurants while traveling. These meals are not included in your trip cost. Your Trip Leaders will inform you of any meals not included in the trip price.What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. During this Outdoor Adventure Backpacking Trip, we will explore a beautiful destination while carrying our gear to camp. This is a great way to get outdoors, get in a good workout, and connect with nature! No experience is necessary, but the ability to carry 30-40 lbs. while walking 15-20 miles is required.What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including camping gear, backpacks, backpacking equipment, etc.), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. We will work with you in a master class setting and offer feedback. Parents are encouraged to attend the welcome meeting at 1:00 p.m.; it will offer suggestions/tips on how to support their student's pursuit of a college music degree.

Upon graduating from Northwestern University in 1987, Griffin began his career with the Rochester Philharmonic and followed with positions in the orchestras of Montreal and Houston before joining the Chicago Symphony in 1995. Griffin has served as guest principal horn of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Saint Louis Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Shanghai Radio Orchestra. In September 2017, Griffin traveled to Japan for a solo tour, performing recitals in Tokyo, Nagasaki, and Osaka.
