Over the course of two to four semesters, students work closely with a faculty committee to research, write, defend and publish an original thesis that serves as an honors capstone product of their undergraduate career. Participants will learn tips and tricks for deciphering old handwriting and in the process learn about family dynamics in early America. Take a step into the past when you read a 1690s letter from a father to his teenage daughter, who is running the family's household and is tasked with selling their cider.UCF's PRINT, or People, Religion, Information Networks and Travel, project focuses on the dynamics of migration in the early modem world. PRINT is an interdisciplinary project in which faculty and students are creating a portal to the correspondence of religious minorities.
