As part of the Latin American Film Festival, we're thrilled to host a [student video competition](https://sciences.ucf.edu/politics/lalax-student-video-competition/) that celebrates the diverse experiences of the Latin American community. Students are invited to submit short films -- fiction or non-fiction, in any genre - that explore these stories in creative and compelling ways.Finalists will be screened during the festival, and attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite, making this an exciting, interactive event that highlights UCF's student talent and cultural engagement. The UCF Brass Chamber includes the UCF Trumpet Ensemble, the UCF Horn Ensemble, the UCF Trombone Ensemble, and the UCF Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble. The UCF Percussion Ensemble is joined by Anders Åstrand, a renowned Swedish percussionist and composer, to perform a diverse program of his works. Under the direction of Thad Anderson, the UCF Percussion Ensemble frequently performs with guest artists and collaborates with composers to commission and premiere new works for the genre.Free admission for all. The Pegasus String Quartet is led by renowned violinist and UCF Professor Ayako Yonetani. Featuring Dr. Yonetani and three graduate students, the ensemble will present some of the most iconic music for string quartet.Free admission

This year we have 16 students in the class - many of them are new students at UCF - and they are excited about singing/acting for you.
