- 8:00 AM4hUCF 9/11 Stair ClimbJoin the Office of Military and Veteran Student Success as we partner with Team RWB and UCF Athletics to host the second annual 9/11 Stair Climb. This event remembers and honors the brave men and women who rushed into the Twin Towers to rescue and provide aid to those who were trapped.Meet us at 8 a.m. at Gate 10 of the FBC Mortgage Stadium. We will hear from a retired New York City firefighter and then begin the stair climb to remember those brave souls.

All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open two weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above.Pre-Trip Date & Time: Sept. 5, 2024 - 6:30 p.m.Trip Description: Ever wanted to see bioluminescent dinoflagellates (aka algae) lighting up the entirety of the water you are paddling in? Well, now is your chance to see this unique sight with the help of our professional student trip leaders. Off of the city of Titusville, you can watch this magic happen. With each stroke of your paddle, you can see the water light up before your eyes, and may even see a bioluminescent jellyfish as a surprise! Come join us on one of our most popular trips that Adventure Trips has to offer!What's Included: All our adventures include necessary gear for the activity (including kayaks, PFDs, headlamps and more), transportation to/from the activity and professional guidance by Outdoor Adventure Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders.What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing and appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks.
