UCF's two auditioned large ensembles, the UCF Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, will present their combined concert in the Pegasus Ballroom in the UCF Student Union. The program will feature the premiere of a new concert for two solo flutes & wind ensembles, as well as a variety of some of the best traditional and contemporary works for wind band.

The UCF Symphony Orchestra is a full orchestra with strings, brass, woodwind and percussion. The group performs literature of the highest caliber by master composers such as Bach, Beethoven and Mahler. The ensemble performs locally and regionally for various concerts and festivals and is open to all students regardless of major, but participation is by audition only, taking place at the beginning of each semester
