Learning Support

All students studying at UCF Downtown have free tutoring and learning support available online and on campus.

The Learning Support Center at UCF Downtown is administered by Valencia College in partnership with the Student Academic Resource Center (SARC) at UCF.

These tutoring sessions or consultations support general education program (GEP) courses in subjects like psychology, mathematics and science, as well as select upper division courses in digital media and legal studies.

There is also a Writing Center to help with various types of writing, including analytical papers, essays, resumes and more. Writing consultants help students with brainstorming ideas, outlining essays, creating drafts, and provide guidance on grammar, punctuation, style and formatting.

Academic coaches are available online to provide one-on-one consultations with students who would like to enhance their study strategies and develop a plan for academic success. Online Instructional Peer Coaches are also available to provide one-on-one support to students to help them guide students on how to navigate online courses.

Please visit the Learning Support Center or Writing Center webpage to learn about how to get connected and to view the online tutoring schedule.
