Join the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science as we celebrate Engineers Week -- Monday, Feb. 17 to Saturday, Feb. 21-- with a variety of free events to showcase that just about every modern convenience is possible because of engineers.Every February, the National Engineers Week Foundation celebrates Engineers Week to showcase the positive contributions engineers make to society. Engineers Week is part of many corporate and government cultures and is celebrated on every U.S. engineering college campus.

- 8:30 AM4h 30mDowntown Volunteer Opportunity: 910 Food DistributionThis monthly food distribution event is a volunteering opportunity that occurs on the third Thursday of every month at the 910 Livingston Street Church of God about a block and half from UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown.The entire volunteer opportunity is from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. There are two volunteer shifts: 8:30-11 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.-1p.m. Volunteers may sign up for one or both shifts (link below).Volunteers will be expected to assist with setup and teardown, breakdown and repackage food for distribution, and assist with loading patron's vehicles.*If all 20 spots are filled, you are still able to come volunteer. In this interactive information session, ask questions and find out what you need to know to successfully prepare your BSN program application.UCF's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Information Sessions are designed to help prospective BSN students understand the process and steps for applying to UCF's limited-access, upper-division BSN programs which include the traditional, second degree and concurrent options.
