- 12:00 AM4:30 PMCamp Connect ICamp Connect I is a week-long day camp that introduces students to a variety of engineering disciplines such as electrical, computer, industrial, mechanical, aerospace, civil, environmental, construction and computer science. Students participate in activities, informative presentations, and exciting lab tours while getting a chance to meet and engage with our wonderful faculty and students. Registration Link: https://stem.ucf.edu/camp-connect/ Registration Info: Applications are open through May 10 or until the camp reaches capacity.

During the on-campus IES tour, families can visit the IES facilities, meet members of the IES team, see the UCF campus and learn more about the program. The tour begins with an information session in the IES office and is followed by a walking campus tour (rain or shine, dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes). The Department of Housing and Residence Life offers tours of select UCF housing communities. Please [visit their website](https://www.housing.ucf.edu/tours/dailytours/) to view available dates and times and book a housing tour. Location: Ferrel Commons 7B, Suite 132 [Parking permits](https://secure.parking.ucf.edu/parkingportal/) are virtual and can be purchased ahead of time. Parking Garage B is the closest parking garage. - 10:00 AM7hPathways 2024: The Carlos Malamud Prize ExhibitionPathways 2024: The Carlos Malamud Prize ExhibitionExhibition Dates: May 30, 2024 - August 30, 2024This exhibition is the result of a collaborative partnership between the UCF Art Gallery at the University of Central Florida and the Rollins Museum of Art to celebrate and support emerging professional artists working in Florida. Juried by an external panel of three professionals from various areas of the art world, this year's edition of the exhibition features six artists with diverse practices. The selection includes a variety of media, themes, scales and approaches, showing a wide breadth of perspectives and experiences. Works by the six finalists will be shown at both venues, creating opportunities for engagement with two of the area's major academic constituencies and their surrounding communities. The winning artist of Pathways: The Carlos Malamud Prize will receive a $10,000 cash prize, a solo exhibition at the UCF Art Gallery in 2025 and will participate as a juror for the following edition of the exhibition. The winner will also receive additional professional development and support. This consistent engagement over time makes Pathways unique and transformative among other art competitions. It hopes to nurture emerging artists and provide a pathway to success, which coincides with the core missions of both presenting institutions.Join us for the following:Opening reception and prize winner announcement Thursday, May 30, from 5-7 p.m. at UCF Art Gallery.Parking: Free parking is available in Garage F next to the Addition Financial Arena.
